SAINT PATRICK'S DAY FEAST DAY

Leprechauns are actually one reason you’re supposed to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day—or risk getting pinched! The tradition is tied to folklore that says wearing green makes you invisible to leprechauns, which like to pinch anyone they can see. Some people also think sporting the color will bring good luck, and others wear it to honor their Irish ancestry. No wonder green decorations can be seen all over—the Chicago River in Illinois is even dyed green each year to celebrate the holiday. 

Another tradition includes many Irish-American people in the United States eating corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day. People also gather to watch parades of traditional Irish dancers and musicians as they march through city streets. However you celebrate, here’s hoping it’s a lucky day!

DOING MY BEST

 I like doing my best. Part of doing my best is having good manners. When asking for something, I say please.  When receiving something I say thank you. When speaking with a family member, teacher, or friend I don't interrupt when they are speaking.  If I want to get someone's attention I can say excuse me. If I am u sure about doing something I should always ask permission. I should always keep my comments positive and try my best to make others feel good. When people ask me how I am doing, I am doing, I remember to say thank you for having me over. These are some of the ways I have good manners.

MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

My birthday weekend started off with on Thursday my sister buying me and my mom are birthday lunches because her birthday was the 25th and mines 28th  my sister got me checkers a burger then on Friday I went to the cheesecake factory with my mom and my dad I got the steak tacos.  And I got the moose cheesecake my one sister got the Oreo cheesecake and my other sister got the caramel apple and my dad and mom got one piece to share of the lemon meringue pie. On Saturday  my other sister buying me my birthday lunch she got me Wendy’s spicy chicken baked potato with cheese and a frosty Then on Saturday I relaxed all day and watched a marathon of Tom and Jerry. On Sunday my sister Abbey took me to the dollar store and I bought a whole bunch of candies and bath bombs then we went to Buddy’s Pizza for dinner and I got Green peppers pepperoni and green olive pizza. I got the new Scooby Doo movie for my birthday and Honey I shrunk my teacher and Honey I shrunk my family and Honey I shrunk my parents and also a Scooby Doo song of the vampire. My mom got me some pajama shorts a greenhouse and some vegetable seeds and later on she’s going to get me a labelMaker.

MY COLORFUL FLOWERS 🌺

Last week at school I  planned two different types of seeds. I planted flowers seeds and vegetables seeds. The first step to planting my seeds was filling a container with soil. Next, I planted their seeds under the soil. Seeds need sun and water to grow in the soil. I need to be careful not to give too much sun and water. I am looking forward to watching my seeds grow. Eventually, I will bring my plants home to keep growing. I will move my plants outside in the ground or plant them in a larger container inside my house. I am really excited to watch my plants grow and take them home.

SUPER BOWL ON SUNDAYS

 This Sunday February 7th is the super bowl. The super bowl is the biggest football game of the year. The Buccaneers and Chiefs will play in the supper bowl. I think the Chiefs will win the game. In addition to the game, people watch commercial. Fans of the Super Bowl also watch for the half time show. I am most looking forward to watching commercials. 

RESPECTING PEOPLE

 I like treating others the way I want to be treated. Respect is way of treating or thinking about something or someone. I show respect by being polite and kind. Listening is one way I show respect. Paying attention to other feelings is another way to show respect. Being in charge of the way I act shows respect to others. Keeping in charge of my body and voice shows respect. One way I show respect is cleaning the dogs paws so they don’t get the couch wet or dirty. Another way I show respect is washing my dishes so my dad doesn’t have wash them all the time. 

MEAL OF THE DAY

If I could pick one meal to eat every day for the rest of my life I would choose fruit salad. My favorite place to eat my meal is at home. If I was buying the ingredients from a store to make my meal at home, I would shop at Kroger. I would need to buy strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and an orange. If I had to pick a drink to have with my meal I would choose lemonade. I like my drink cold. If I had to recommend a dessert I would choose My mom's chocolate sour cream cake. I like sharing my favorite meal with friends. It's not so fun trying new things.
