LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT MOTHER’S DAY

What is the story behind Mother's Day?
The modern holiday of Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. ... In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother's Day, held on the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers.
Which flower traditionally Symbolises Mother's Day?
Carnations
Carnations signify purity, faith, love, beauty and charity. Carnations are the most gifted flower at Mother's Day with pink carnations having the most significance. Legend has it that they first sprouted from the Virgin Mary's tears shed over Jesus' death – making them the symbol of a mother's undying love.
So why is Mother’s Day so important it’s because you celebrate your moms out there with all the hard work and stuff they have done. You should celebrate them by buying them gifts and honoring them it’s a day for them to relax and you help them and get them things. I got my mom some flowers and a box of chocolates some cheese chips a $25 gift card to Starbucks And some lemon cookies by Tates and both of my sisters got her a robot vacuum.
