I wanted to share my thoughts on this film. It might not live up to its predecessor from over three decades ago, but it's still pretty entertaining and enjoyable. The returning cast, especially the iconic Michael Keaton, brought back some great memories, and it was amazing to see Tim Burton direct a sequel after 36 years.
I did have a few nitpicks, like some pacing issues and a couple of plot holes, but overall, I enjoyed the movie. The soundtrack was fantastic, paying homage to the original film, and the visuals were visually stunning, although they might be a bit intense for younger viewers.
The film had some interesting writing decisions and incorporated some unexpected elements, which I appreciated. The comedy was on point, and while some character development fell a bit short, the core cast still delivered.
In my opinion, I'd give this film an 8.4/10. I prefer the classic, but I still enjoyed the contemporary take and I'll definitely watch both films again.
